Android 8.1 Oreo update pushed to supported devices

Coming several weeks after Google officially announced the latest Android OS, the Android 8.0 Oreo OS, the tech company has started pushing out updates to the OS.

The fresh and latest updates being pushed to supported devices comes bearing the version number 8.1 and comes packing some major bug fixes and security patches amongst other updates.

The latest update comes several days after the tech company tested the Beta version of the OS for stability.

For tech lovers using the Android 8.0 Oreo OS supported devices, the update should have started hitting your units.

The update which is available Over the Air, OTA, can be checked by accessing the Settings options on your smartphone and proceeding to check for updates.

In case the update is yet to hit your smartphone, exercise a little more patience.

However, the OTA update is guaranteed for tech lovers who have enrolled in the Android Beta Program.
