The Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition tablet is set to launch on the second quarter of 2016. It is a new tablet PC that will come with the latest Ubuntu software to be launched by Canonical, the company behind the Ubuntu Linux distribution.
According to Canonical, they are bringing the clients everything to expect from Ubuntu PC, now on the tablet with BQ. They boast its single, visual framework and set of tools for applications to run any Ubuntu smart device; that’s something no other OS can provide.
Hardware specifications of the Aquaris M10 include:

- MediaTek quad-core MT8163A 1.5GHz processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 8MP camera with autofocus and dual flash

OMG Ubuntu anticipated that the tablet will be available at around £250, although no official pricing was declared yet.
No pricing was announced, but OMG Ubuntu predicted that the tablet will cost around £250 (R5,700).
