BlackBerry Messenger is now available for those who use Windows Phone OS-powered device.
The app can be downloaded and installed by heading straight to the Microsoft Store on your Windows Phone via the menu section.
— also known as BBM — allows you to add contacts via special PIN codes. You can send texts and note, share pictures and audio with your BBM contacts.
“As the popularity of BBM continues to grow, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand its availability to the Windows Phone community. The BBM app for Windows Phone is an exciting new chapter for the BBM service, and we are excited to be working with Microsoft to deliver a new level of collaboration to the Windows Phone platform,” said John Sims, a President of Global Enterprise Services at BlackBerry.
BlackBerry Messenger, until towards the end of last year, was available for only BlackBerry smartphones but that changed after BlackBerry decided to cross-platform the social network, making it available on and now Windows phones.
