Facebook’s Live Video feature becomes available to all US iPhone users, set to go worldwide soon

Facebook has declared a new development – expansion of its live video sharing feature to every iPhone user in the US. The feature was previously in beta mode where it was being tested and improved upon by Facebook developers.

This feature is simple and easy to use. Facebook users just have to click the Update Status and then choose the Live Video icon. Users can write a video description and select the audience they want to share it with before going live on Facebook.

While the video is live, users will see the number of live viewers, tuners and the streaming of comments. This will give real-time interaction among the people who are watching a live video.

The video can be saved on their Timeline once the broadcast ends. It can be deleted or retained for future viewing.

Users can see in their News Feed live videos from friends and public figures they follow. They can also click the Subscribe button to get updated with the videos when they get broadcasted live.

Expectedly, this feature will be available to all users worldwide in the coming weeks.
