Nigeria’s self-acclaimed No 1 Online food ordering and delivery platform, Hellofood has been awarded for the Best Customer Service Company in food retailing Nigeria 2015 during the 3rd edition of the Nigeria customer service awards.
The Nigeria Customer Service Awards (NCSA) which was sponsored by Konga and DHL, organizes the acclaimed yearly award ceremony, which takes place to acknowledge and celebrate companies that provide outstanding customer service in Nigeria.
Hellofood was accessed based on the customer service practices through customer feedback, (nominations were a great deal from customers), review of staff and management process that relate to customer service and finally mystery shopper studies by the NCSA, examining the opinions of various customers about Hellofoods Customer Service team.
Whilst, Hellofood is considered a tech company bringing an online interface to the food industry, connecting restaurants with customers and innovative tools, the focus of great customer service is undoubtedly of high importance . Hellofood is not just software, behind the scenes it is a Customer Service team fighting to get food cooked as desired and delivered on time.
Guillaume Leblond, Managing director of Hellofood Nigeria mentioned this was a great milestone.: “the hospitality and food industry do not have a tradition of deeply rooted customer care in Nigeria, but things are changing fast, at Hellofood we invested a lot in people, tools and technology to be part of this change. Overall I think Nigerian customers, across sectors, Food, Banking, Shopping are entering a new era of customer care and this is very promising .”
