Apple has brought the official Bluetooth mouse and trackpad support to its iPads with the current release of iPadOS. In this guide, we will teach you how to connect and disconnect your Bluetooth mouse from your iPad.
Connecting your Bluetooth mouse to your iPad
- Go to the Settings app on your iPad.
- Tap on Bluetooth on your iPad and ensure that it is visible to other devices.
- Turn on your mouse and make sure it’s near your iPad and also in pairing mode.
- Tap the name of your mouse on your iPad to connect to it.It should appear in Bluetooth settings under other devices.
- Your mouse will appear in the My Devices list once it’s successfully connected as shown on the image above.
Note:For you to get a good and successful connection, your mouse must powered on and near your iPad.
Disconnecting your Bluetooth mouse from your iPad
- Go to the Settings app on your iPad.
- Tap on Bluetooth.
- Tap on the Info button, it is the blue encircled(i) icon.
- Tap on Disconnect.
