All iPad,iPhone,Mac,iPod Touch comes with an in-built FaceTime app that is free to use and extremely easy.It is an in-built app so you don’t have to download it from anywhere.
You can make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac from any location in the world but only requires a cellular data connection or Wi-Fi and also the person you want to call must have an iOS device or Mac and a FaceTime account of their own.
If you are new to FaceTime or you need to get in touch with a friend, follow the easy steps below to get through.
Making a FaceTime call on Mac
- Go to the FaceTime app from the Applications folder on your Mac.
- Enter the name, email address or number that you want to call. As you type, your Contacts list will be searched and any matching contacts will appear in a dropdown list.
- Tap on the Video button to initiate the call.
Note:That if the Video button is greyed out, the contact you are trying to call has disabled FaceTime or hasn’t set up a FaceTime account.
Making a FaceTime call on iPhone or iPad
- Go to the FaceTime app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on the plus (+) button.
- Tap on the circled plus (+) button to select someone from your Contacts list to call.
- Tap on the Video button to initiate the call.
