iDea Nigeria is a Lagos based organization that looks to seek out developing entrepreneurs in the technological industry, helping them in many and any way they can to ensure that these techpreneurs achieve their aim. The Lagos-based incubator and accelerator programme has then announced that it wishes to host a programme in conjunction with the Africa Internet Group (AIG). This event, hosted alongside the leading Internet Group in Africa, would see a lot start-up founders in the technology world of Africa come together under one canopy.
According to the Centre Manager for iDea Nigeria in person of Olufunbi Falayi, the event dubbed a Fireside Chat looks bringing together “the AIG leadership with startup founders in the Nigerian tech ecosystem for the purpose of sharing knowledge, business showcase, product feedback, co-creation and more.”
In attendance to speak with the techpreneurs on that day would be dignitaries such as the Managing Director of Kaymu, Hellofood, Lamudi, Easy Taxi, Jovago and Carmudi Nigeria. This event would help the Managing Directors of the above firms (who are also housed under the AIG) to learn more about the tech ecosystem and also, help these start-ups to identify potential partners and investors to help them grow.
The event will be taking place on the 23rd of October at 3 – 5PM, and the attendance has been limited to only invited guests.
