meQasa recieves $500K funding from Frontier Digital Firm

MeQasa (operating at their official website of meQasa.com) is a Ghanaian based online platform that is based on real estate. MeQasa offers a classifieds platform which is aimed at real estate business in the Ghanaian market and is one of the leading platforms in its own regards.

Of recent, meQasa has obtained funding that is well up to half a million dollars ($500,000) from Frontier Digital Ventures which is a VC Digital Firm that Is based in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. This would not be the first time that Frontier Digital Firm would be making this type of investment as it is well known to invest in the leading online classifieds platforms over various regions and countries with its resume featuring impressive areas such as Asia, North Africa, East Africa, West Africa, Central America to mention but a few.

meQasa, which was a brainchild of three then undergraduate students of the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in Accra, Ghana, was founded by Kelvin Nyame, Rashad Seini and Kofi Amuasi and they received investment funding from the Incubator as soon as they graduated.

The CEO of meQasa in person of Kelvin Nyame has said “Over the last two years, we have built the meQasa platform and underlying technology to be a leader in the real estate classifieds market in Ghana. We’re thrilled to have come on the radar of an international investor such as Frontier Digital Ventures, who saw the value in our efforts and chose to invest in the potential of this company”

Frontier itself has released a statement through its CEO where they expressed their excitement at the deal and partnership with meQasa.
