Microsoft has announced its readiness for update rollout on its Lumia smartphones. The Windows 10 update which is expected to be available by December might be Microsoft’s own way of ushering in the festive period. With the schedule of November as the official launch for Windows 10 update on PCs, they’ve has a whole lot on their hands and this might be why the rollout for the Lumia smartphones have to wait a month more.
The Windows 10 build 10956 will be rolled out on November 12 to some select devices and its availability will largely depend on the carrier and country in which the smartphone is being operated in.
However, the update will not be reaching all and sundry yet as the Windows 10 Mobile build 10956 is unlikely to be available for some Lumia devices and some other smartphones running the Windows 8.1 Denim version until later which is quite unknown at the moment.
Lumia help indicated that the new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL as the news earlier surfaced online will be shipped out with the Windows 10 OS already pre-installed with the update coming later on in the coming months to other Lumia range of devices with Microsoft giving full details of the Lumia 10 software upgrade availability for regions in India on its website.
