The Huawei Mate S device which was launched just over a little while ago and can still be considered to be relatively new is an high end smartphone from Huawei and it is now set to be launched on the MTN network. Launching the Huawei Mate S via MTN would mean the first time that MTN would launch an high end smartphone like this on its network.
The Mate S device to be thus launched by MTN would be the dual SIM variant of the device and it is reported that it would start selling at a price of R10,799 on a PayAsYouGo retail plan. MTN would also offer the device for sale at a contract price of R499 per month on its My MTNChoice 100 platform.
The Huawei Mate S runs on the Huawei-made Kirin 935 chipset and packs 3GB of RAM under the 5.5 inch screen. MTN would be offering for sale only the 64GB variant of the device and a 64-bit MediaTek processor would be responsible for controlling your affairs on this device.
With a battery of 2700mAh, you get full support for the camera which comes in a back to front rating of 13MP to 8MP. Out of the box, the Huawei Mate S device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 version.
