Google has started to engage some pretty powerful, resourceful and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the majority of applications that are under the belt of this web search giant and with each new upgrade to the AI’s algorithm brings a new improvement to our daily lives and interactions with these applications.
Google has now sought to help us eradicate the need to always check our phones when a new mail comes in and saves us the stress of having to compose reply mails every time as the Android Open Source maker looks to tie those loose ends for us. The key would be integrating two different but mutually dependent AIs in the Google Mail application.
What they would do is pretty simple. One of these AIs would be responsible for reading out your messages while the other tries to ‘understand’ them by converting into a friendly vector. This would then help the other AI to think up quick replies that you might wish to send back to the original sender.
What makes this innovation most resourceful is that the AIs would not just be limited to one form of quick reply but would explore the possibilities that there might be and so provide you with 3 different distinct replies.
This AI is smart as it is, but it would be a nice feature addition if it was able to check your calendar to know your availability and also, your Hangout too.
