Nigeria is the second best African economy to invest in right now: Research

If you are looking for where you can put your money to work on the African continent, Nigeria and Rwanda are the two sweetest retail spots right now, A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm, revealed.

According to data published by the research firm who is head-quartered in Chicago, USA and operates in 40 countries, Nigeria and Rwanda top the 2014 African Retail Development Index.

On a scale of 0 to 100, Rwanda topped the list with 70 marks while Nigeria came second at 64 with Namibia coming in as the third country willing to purchase retail products at 60 percent.

Nigeria, the biggest African country in terms of population, also has the largest economy in the region after overtaking South Africa last year.
