Nigerian tech startups showcase talents at 2015 DEMO Africa

The upcoming Demo Africa forum that will take place this month in Lagos will be exhibiting the talents of several startup companies fro across Africa.

There will be 30 startup companies taking part at the Demo Africa Forum including Nigeria (8 representatives) Kenya (6 representatives), South Africa (3 representatives), Ghana (2 representatives), Egypt (2 representatives), Cameroon (2 representatives), Zimbabwe (2 representatives), Uganda (1 representative), Tanzania (1 representative), and Ivory Coast (1 representative). NITDA is convinced that the event will give a boost to the new technology startup companies and help them to be successful. NITDA is assured that DEMO africa forum will help to raise up leaders and entrepreneurs in Africa.

NITDA is responsible for the youth development of Demo Africa. DEMO Africa is hosted by Nigerian Ministry of Communication Technology and NITDA. According to Mr. Peter Jack, the director general of NITDA, the youth plays an important role in technology advancement in Africa. Harry Hare, the producer of DEMO Africa hope that these young pioneers will encourage entrepreneurship in Africa.

There will be 8 technology srtartups that will take part at the GITEX Expo and Conference in Dubai, UAE. Through 4Afrika Initiative, DEMO Africa has gained the support of Microsoft.
