Nintendo has made a name for itself in the gaming industry already and needs little or no introduction, unless for the newer entrants into the gaming scene who maybe came in the era of the PlayStation 2 or 3 consoles. Having a lot of successful franchise games on its platform from Super Mario, to Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Kart, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Kart and the rest, as well as sporting the awesome Nintendo GameBoy console, Nintendo would forever be a force to be reckoned with.
Recently though, Nintendo is planning to extend its business from just the consoles and transcend into mobile smartphones also and are already in development phase for this new game. The game, which is to be titled Miitomo, would allow players to create virtual versions of themselves (called Mii) with which they can interact with other Miis by other players. Although the specifics of this game are still sketchy, it is expected to bring along with it some elements of social interaction.
Nintendo would be partnering up with DeNA, a Japanese global gaming giant, to build these games. This venture looks to be a lucrative diversification for Nintendo who are already beginning to record drops in their console demands. Although dates for release is yet to be announced, the game (as well as five others in development) would launch before 2015.
