Oracle is a well-known international brand that specializes in the manufacturing and provision of computer-related facilities such as hardware and enterprise product systems. The brand is also popular for running its own line of data management systems and they boast the bragging rights of being the world’s second largest software makers (measured by revenue generated) — only behind Microsoft.
The American-based global brand which has its headquarters in Redwood City, California has opened a new office in Nigeria through the activities of its West African arm. The office which is situated at Victoria Island in Lagos is expected to serve as the official headquarters of the Oracle Corporation in all of West Africa.
The new office which aims to increase the level of service to the African and Nigerian market would simultaneously serve the purposes of human resources and operational functions and as well, serve as a sales point for Oracle’s products.
Speaking on the issue, the official first citizen of Oracle in Nigeria, the Oracle Nigeria’s Country Leader by position and Adebayo Sanni by name stated that “We’re very excited by opening of Oracle’s latest state-of-the-art facility here in Nigeria and look forward to continuing to provide world-class solutions to help our customers and partners innovate and grow in the region.”
Oracle wishes to seize this opportunity to further spread its tentacles and worm its roots deeper into the African economy, boosting their status and as well, giving Africans the ultimate Oracle experience.
