StartINVAfrica has been launched as one of the ways to ‘heal’ the already collapsing entrepreneurial sector in Nigeria. The event, which is set to hold in Lagos between the 17th to 19th of December, would be aimed and focused at showcasing a lot of new businesses in the entrepreneur ship stream to investors, industry leaders, potential donors, etc.
The decline in the quality of infrastructure as well as other related factors in the Nigerian economy has caused a massive depletion of the economy, leading to massively high rates of unemployment and then, a need to develop talents that are inherent within the society and this posed the best way to do that.
The sessions that would be available throughout this programme would be speed mentoring sessions, quick pitches, master classes laced with fun and business networking. In attendance would be esteemed dignitaries such as established entrepreneurs, investors and senior delegates. These dignified personnels would be not from Nigeria only but from outside the country too.
To enable diversification, StartINV is not focusing on one sector only, inviting each and every sector of the economy that feels has something to offer. This means that our tech start-ups too can take part in the event and they stand every chance to gain a lot.
