SWIFT acquires Chromecom, 1,000 new 4G LTE base stations planned

SWIFT Networks Limited, considered as one of the premiere high speed broadband and data service providers in Nigeria has recently acquired Chromecom, another licensed operator.

When about 100,000 existing WiMAX customers are already expected to be migrated to the all new 4G LTE network by the end of 2015, this acquisition will certainly boost the broadband speed, specifically for the strategic positioning of the broadband services across the country.

Apart from confirming the acquisition, the company has also made formal announcement regarding deploying about 1,0004G LTE based stations in Lagos to provide their existing and prospective customers with an exhilarating experience. SWIFT is constantly putting in efforts to deliver their absolute best services to their customers.

In 2013, SWIFT also acquired the 4G business of Direct On PC (DOPC) including their 4G infrastructure and wireless services. The acquisition further strengthens the business and help customers get the best services ever. By the end of this year, the company is planning to expand their services to Port Harcourt and Abuja.

Delay in the business expansion to Port Harcourt and Abuja was a deliberate move, the company’s spokesman said, in order to stabilize in the Lagos market properly. Hopefully, the new expansion of the business will enrich the experience of the 4G LTE customers.
