To use a custom text to link a page or user’s profile, we need to get the profile ID first.

How To Get Id A Profile Or Page On Facebook

While on the profile or page you want to tag, view the URL in your browser’s URL tab.
You should find something like this:

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?
id=111122223333

The numbers that appear after ?
id=
is the profile or page’s id.
In many cases the target page or profile is using facebook usernames or vanity url such as http://www.facebook.com/
username.
In this case the profile ID is hidden and replaced with a username in the profile’s URL.
Example:

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?
id=username
In place of:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?
id=111122223333

To find The ID of A Profile With Username

Go to http://www.facebook.com/
username on your browser to find the profile ID.
You should remember to replace username with the actual username you want to tag.
